Global health strategies can play a valuable role to advance health for all. The question is, then, how can we measure its progress? What are indicators that would allow us to evaluate its impacts? Without clear implementation plans and monitoring mechanisms, such a piece of policymaking cannot be monitored and held accountable. While several governance bodies around the world are developing their global health strategies, we propose a guide to help advocates in their efforts to demand better accountability around global health policymaking.
This tool is designed by and for non-state actors. Based on a three-part co-creation process, we gathered valuable insights and success factors. This tool is made to be user-friendly and adaptable to specific context and resources.
